To coincide with the start of the 2024/25 Malaysian Football League Season in May, the MFL will be launching a number of new features to its own social media platform, https://www.malaysianfootballleague.com/
The biggest update for MFL digital platform is the launch of a dedicated Mobile App, which is targeted for launch in April 2024. The app will give fans a much more immersive and seamless experience for consuming MFL content.
Next up is the ability to buy MFL merchandise right next to the content without ever leaving the content you are watching. If your favourite player is wearing his team jersey or his favourite boots, fans are now able to buy and checkout these items right next to the content. Thus, providing another frictionless experience on the MFL's own site for fans.
Finally, the MFL will also be announcing more sponsor led fan voting engagement activities such as Goal of the Month, Save of the Month as well as the gamification elements such as Score prediction League, & also the launch of a new dedicated Malaysian Fantasy Football League.
All of these new features are part of the ongoing roadmap of new ways to engage with the fans on the MFL's digital platform, from their technical partner, Emerce Sdn Bhd.
